Uruguay English

The purchase of new bedding went well, I got the pillow and duvet in the shop and asked nicely, “please cover”

Also got myself a new pair of running shoes. Spent a total of 250€

The Arrival in Uruguay was easy and pleasant. I met the nicest employee at the boarder control who welcomed me. He told me that he’s been to Saarbrücken and Schwarzwald (Germany) and even has a friend that lives in Bonn. He was honestly the friendliest person that I’ve ever met at a boarder control.

After a cold shower in Colonia del Sacramento, I tested my kite. Wind was strong, yet it still flew alone but I noticed that the bar of the kite needs to be fixed. I even made a feline friend (see picture

Had some extra time so I tried out a Trampoline park in Montevideo. That night I parked Emmazwo in the parking lot of the restaurant Punta Carretas, and stayed overnight, uninterrupted.

I had a really good dinner, the photo isn’t accurate, I wasn’t the one cooking!!!

Punta del Este appears to be quite a fancy place, according to others. Seems to have some things in common with Miami. Punta del Diabolo (suites me well), I wanted to stay here a bit longer. I came across super poisonous snakes whilst jogging on two occasions.

Since its not high season here, everything is closed and its a bit dead. I’m going to have to go more North if I want to experience the real Summer

Conclusion on Uruguay: beautiful, friendly, small country. Its sold as the ‘vacation’ country by Brazil and Argentina since its relatively safe. Yet, when its not high season, there is absolutely nothing to do. Its said that Uruguay is the Switzerland of South America. This is very true as its more expensive than the rest!
